Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Blackline Forge ("we", "us") handles through this website, through our uploader app Blackline Forge Shorts, and when you get one of our Notion templates.
1. This website
This site is a set of static pages. It has no cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or forms, and we do not collect personal information when you visit. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data such as IP addresses in order to deliver and protect the site.
2. Blackline Forge Shorts and Google user data
Blackline Forge Shorts is an internal tool used only by the Blackline Forge team to upload short videos we made to our own YouTube channel, @BlacklineForge.
- What it accesses. The app requests a single OAuth scope,
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload, which allows it to upload videos to the signed-in YouTube channel. It does not request access to email, contacts, files, analytics, comments or any other Google data. - How it uses that access. Only to upload our own videos and set their title, description, tags and privacy status.
- Storage. The OAuth token is stored locally on our own computer. It is not sent to or kept on any other server.
- Sharing. We do not sell, rent, share or transfer Google user data to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising or to train AI models.
- Retention and deletion. The token is kept only while we use the app and is deleted when we stop. Access can also be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page: myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Blackline Forge Shorts' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. Buying or downloading a template
Our Notion templates are sold and delivered through Gumroad. Gumroad processes your name, email address and payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive the order details Gumroad shares with sellers, such as your email address, and use them only to deliver the product, give support and send product updates by email, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. Templates are duplicated into your own Notion workspace; we cannot see your workspace.
4. Your choices
You can ask us to delete the order information we hold about you, or ask any question about this policy, by writing to forge@nicera.ai.
5. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
